The Executive Director sets AEDI's strategic direction, drives impact and financial sustainability, and leads the units of Community Economic Development, Economic Research & Data Analysis, the Arkansas Data Center, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and Emergency Management and Continuity. Reporting directly to the Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost, the Director will be a key member of the Provost's Leadership Team.

Chief Economic Development Officer

The Russellville Area Chamber of Commerce and Russellville Regional Alliance for Economic development is seeking to hire a Chief Economic Development Officer (CEDO) to serve as the primary economic development strategist in collaboration with the CEO. The role includes overseeing strategic initiatives to drive regional workforce and talent development, industry engagement, and government affairs. This role involves fostering partnerships with businesses, educational institutions, and government agencies to enhance workforce readiness and economic growth while advocating for policies that support regional industry expansion. The CEDO collaborates with stakeholders to align workforce strategies with economic development goals, ensures proactive industry engagement. The CEDO role includes attracting and retaining industry and businesses in the Russellville area and representing the organization in legislative and policy discussions to advance economic opportunities.
